Chautauqua Lake Bassmasters

**Regular meeting called to order at 7:05 P.M. by Larry Saracki, Pres. with  6 members  present. 

** Minutes of the April 3rd, 2008  meeting were read and approved by the members present.

    **Treasurer’s report was read by  Chuck Angelo, Treas. and approved by the members present.  Outstanding bills were presented to the treasurer and approved for payment by a vote of the membership present.

*Membership report: Current membership total as of the end of the April 3rd meeting stands at 22. 

     ** Youth Committee Report: Our current fund balance in this account is $199.98.  Larry & Chuck attended the April 7^th Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association’s monthly meeting to discuss the “Kids Fishing Contest”.  After a presentation to their members, a discussion followed without any decision being made as to whether or not they were interested in conducting the event. 

** Tournament Committee:  The May 17^th paper tournament will be for club members only.  launch time will be 6AM, ending at 12 noon.  $20.00 entry fee will be collected at the launch, which is BEMUS POINT.  The Crappie Tournament organized by Grizzly Gary Radio Show for May 24^th ,has been cancelled.  Randy reported the response for the June 21^st OPEN TOURNAMENT has been good and we should end up with a good field of entrants.

**Applications for Membership: Four new applications were received and voted on to be accepted.  A hardy welcome to:  Ryan Walker, Roger Sterns, Kris Schimek, and Chris Lipiec.
